Production Process

This part consists of three stations: leaching, filtration, and purification.

  • The leaching station is composed of eight tanks with the capacity of 50 which are used for pulp, acidic and neutral leach.
  • Leach filtration is carried by six sets of filter presses and the resulting solution is sent to four tanks with a total volume of 200 , and then is entered into the purification stage.
  • In purification, the resulting solution enters in two stages:
  • Cobalt purification
  • Nickel – Cadmium purification

The resulting solution from this station is collected in a tank with a beneficial volume of 450  for sending to the electrolysis part.
